Mariánské Lázně is renowned for its elegant architecture, beautiful parks and unique spa atmosphere. The town's most famous landmarks include historic colonnades, churches and the iconic Singing Fountain.

Main Colonnade

The symbol of Mariánské Lázně and one of the most beautiful cast-iron colonnades in Europe. Built between 1888 and 1889, the Neo-Baroque structure stretches nearly 180 metres and features ceiling frescoes and bronze reliefs. It is the heart of the spa town and home to the famous Cross Spring.

Singing Fountain

One of the town's most popular attractions. Opened in 1986, the fountain combines water effects with music and colourful light displays. During the spa season, performances take place several times a day.

Ferdinand Spring Colonnade

This elegant Classicist colonnade, completed in 1827, is located in Úšovice Park and shelters Ferdinand Spring, the oldest documented mineral spring in Mariánské Lázně.

Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary

Located on Goethe Square, this Neo-Byzantine church was built between 1844 and 1848. Visitors are often intrigued by the symbolic staircase of 33 steps representing the age of Jesus Christ.

Orthodox Church of St. Vladimir

Completed in 1902, this impressive Orthodox church is considered one of the finest of its kind in the Czech Republic. Its richly decorated iconostasis is particularly remarkable.

Evangelical Church

Consecrated in 1857, this Neo-Gothic church was built with the support of King Frederick William IV of Prussia. The interior features beautiful stained-glass windows donated by Emperor Wilhelm II.

Anglican Church

Designed by renowned British architect William Burges and completed in 1879, this Neo-Romanesque and Gothic Revival church is one of the town's architectural treasures.

Boheminium Park

The largest miniature park in the Czech Republic features detailed scale models of important Czech monuments and landmarks.

Hamelika Lookout Tower

Located on Hamelika Hill above the town, the tower offers beautiful views of Mariánské Lázně, the Slavkov Forest and the surrounding countryside.

Spa Parks and Forest Springs

The charm of Mariánské Lázně is enhanced by its extensive parks, elegant promenades and numerous mineral springs that can be discovered throughout the town and nearby forests.
